Case Management Supervisor

Job Description

Reports To: Executive Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary:  

The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for assisting in managing campus staff and student services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Management 

  • Supervision and evaluation of campus staff and student services as assigned.

  • Coordinate and facilitate campus visits/meetings with campus staff and campus administrators.

  • Assist in supporting the supervision of all student interns and ensure that interns receive a quality experience in the area of student services  

  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting skilled Student Interns and Volunteers to assist campus staff 

  • Regularly audit student files in case management software 

 

Student Services

  • Research and identify best practices for the delivery of student support services on campuses and assist in training campus staff in implementation.

  • Make bi-weekly campus visits; providing mentoring, guidance, and support to campus staff empowering them to deliver effective student services.

  • Collaborate with Community & Resource Support Specialist in finding ways to connect community, volunteers, etc. to campus services. 

  • Act as Interim campus staff as assigned when necessary.

  • Help lead and/or facilitate student groups on campus using evidence-based curriculum

  • Collaborate with campus staff to ensure Campus Service Delivery Plans are properly developed and fully executed.  

  • Participate in all conference calls and meetings held by the CIS National and/or TEA that are student services related areas.  

Training

  • Assist in identifying, planning, and facilitating case-management processes training for campus staff and Interns as needed.  

Reporting  

  • Prepare quarterly operational reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors.   

  • Review monthly reports submitted by campus staff  

  • Assist with the student closeout process at the end of the school year. SUPERVISION AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

SUPERVISION AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

Supervision is the responsibility of the Executive Director based on goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors via the Strategic and Annual Operations Plans.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related required or Communities In Schools experience. Master’s Degree and/or licensure preferred.

  • Three or more year’s experience in case management, education or, mental health preferred             

  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, have the ability to multitask, possess innovative and creative problem-solving abilities, be resourceful and function as an effective team member

  • Advanced computer skills in Google Workspace applications 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong management and organizational skills

  • Valid Texas driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability insurance

Beginning Salary and Benefit Package: $50,000-53,000 *Based on degree and licensures
